Simão Tróia History

Simão Tróia (id: 84517152) is a Brazilian ManagerZone soccer player born on day 47 of Season 4. He began his career playing for Spencer Masters (Team: 211555). A transfer during Season 34 would change his career dramatically: at age of 29 Tróia joined REAL LUTHERO FC (Team: 238802) as replacement for the team's captain and midfielder who had just been sold.

Season 35, Div 6.2: REAL LUTHERO's fans had never enjoyed a goal from a free kick. But the wait would be worth. Tróia had just been assigned as the team's free-kick taker and he would not disappoint the fans: his first League goal from set plays wouldn't just be from a simple and regular free-kick; Tróia would please the fans with a direct goal from a corner kick!

That would be the first of many other brilliant goals from set plays! Between Oct 3, 2010 and Oct 23, 2010 Tróia would add 3 more goals from free kicks and one more from corner kick. Yes, 5 goals from free kicks in 20 days - a legend was born: The Highest Player in Set Plays of the Managerzone World.

But Tróia still wanted more! Putting and end to the long stream of penalty kicks missed by REAL LUTHERO's strikers, Tróia would also become the team's penalty-kick taker achieving an extraordinary success rate in that area too, becoming at the same time the team's captain, midfield's Maestro and set-piece taker.

Simão Tóia, 38, has just retired at the end of Season 42, and so will his number-10 jersey so that the fans can keep forever intact the sweet memories of The Highest Player in Set Plays of the Managerzone World.

Thanks for everything Simão tróia .
